If you want to become a winner in this game, then read the following pieces of advice that will help you to achieve your goal quickly.

First, I will teach you how to unlock Mission mode. You have to complete the game and thus you will unlock this mode.

Actually, you can also unlock Extra Hard mode. Just beat the game on the Normal or Hard difficulty. 

One more mode you can unlock is Extra Hard+ mode. Complete the game on the Extra Hard difficulty setting to unlock the Extra Hard+ difficulty setting.

Now, some words about other unlockables. Alternate Ending sequence will be unlocked after finishing the game with all three G Reports.

Intermission sequences can be skipped by pressing Start, X. If you do that properly, you will see the end of this sequence.

Do you want to get the Event Viewer? Complete the game, then save it and load again. Go to the Event Viewer menu and see the unlocked intermission sequences there. Actually, you are able to view scenes which you have collocted before.

Now read how to get the most powerful weapon! When you get the “Toy Gun”, keep it with you. Then have 300,000 Gil to upgrade it. Then your gun will turn into a Gold Toy Gun. After you get 200,000 Gil more, you will receive the Ultima Weapon.

In Chap 6, you will, probably, face some bugs. When you are in thevarea with the DG soldiers, fire the insects are. After that, use the Hydra Gun to shoot the one which is in front. Thus you will drive the insects crazy and they will keep the solgiers busy for a while.
