Follow these steps to set the background textures past a 1024×1024 resolution. First, go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”, then select “Software”. Select “PlayOnlineUS” and the “Square Enix” folder, then the “FinalFantasyXI” tab. Find the strings “003″ and “004″ and double click to open them. Now, change the value for “003″ to “800″, then change the value for “004″ to “800″. The values to the right will change to the resolutions:
2048 x 2048: 800 and 800
1600 x 1600: 640 and 640
1280 x 1280: 500 and 500
How to change opening sounds? Run the Playonline viewer in windowed mode. Open it and click outside the window, which will un-highlight the viewer. You will hear another sound.

Grass Cloth: make a synthesis Yagudo Necklace with a Wind Crystal to get three spools of Grass Thread. Mix them with Earth Crystal to get Grass Cloth.
Sheep Leather: synthesize a Goblin mask with a Wind Crystal.
Silk Thread: defeat Crawlers in East Sartabaruta.
How to enter the Zehrun Mines in Bastok Mines? Just go to Bastok Mines and near the left on your map you will find a circle. Go there and enter the passage.
